This print is part of a series commemorating the 150th year (2019) of the periodic table of elements.

The Cu of copper comes from the Latin 'Cuprum', meaning from Cyprus, which was a well known source of copper in the classical period. 

The copper has been intentionally unvarnished and will develop a natural patina over time
